On March 23, Cabox Aspiring Geopark was notified that the Canadian Geopark Network (CGN) was “highly impressed” with Cabox’s recently submitted application dossier and that there was unanimous support for a site visit in summer 2025.  The dossier and site visit are the first major steps towards official UNESCO Global Geopark designation, one of three UNESCO designations along with World Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserves.
