Cabox Presents at ACAP Monthly Meeting

There was a good turnout Thursday, February 27, for Cabox Aspiring Geopark’s presentation at the ACAP Humber Arm lunchtime meeting at the Forestry Centre on MUN’s Grenfell Campus in Corner Brook.  Cabox Chairperson Paul Wylezol presented on the UNESCO Global Geopark program and Western Newfoundland’s Cabox project, from its history and development to the application process. 

 

ACAP (Atlantic Coastal Action Program) Humber Arm Inc. is a not-for-profit organization serving the Bay of Islands and Humber Valley coastal regions of western Newfoundland. The Association is governed by a volunteer board of director’s representing a diverse range of stakeholders from the fields of academia, government, first nations, industry, economic development and the community at large. With a strong history of stakeholder engagement, credible scientific research and innovative responses to community needs, ACAP Humber Arm has established itself as a leader in integrated management.
