If it feels like you’ve spent the last couple of months forever indoors, it may soon be time to be everoutdoors! And what better way to kick off the season than with the Everoutdoor Adventures Scavenger Hunt!!

Saltbox Restaurant and Everoutdoor Adventures in Benoit’s Cove has teamed up with Cabox Aspiring Geopark to launch a Geopark scavenger hunt along Route 450 (Captain Cook’s Trail) on the south side of the Bay of Islands. Participants must download the scavenger hunt form below at bottom, and after completing the page 1 scavenger hunt, return it to Saltbox Restaurant where the first team to arrive each day with a correctly completed form will win a delicious serving of Everoutdoor (onion) Rings!

In addition to the Everoutdoor Adventures Scavenger Hunt, the 7-page form also includes 3 coloring pages: one of Captain James Cook (the 18th century surveyor and explorer who charted the Bay of Islands), another of a Bay of Islands Everoutdory, and a third of a geology map with Geopark region.

There is also a Mapping the Bay of Islands puzzle to test your geographic knowledge of the Bay of Islands, as well as a map to help you find your way down the bay … and find the puzzle’s answers if necessary!

The Everoutdoor Adventures Scavenger Hunt will run from Friday, May 15 to Tuesday, June 30, at which time it is hoped that Saltbox Restaurant‘s dining room and bay-view deck will be open to serve their customers.
